thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Ohio is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage and shipping of raw materials and finished goods. You will perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, stocking, and inspection on the warehouse floor, operating material-handling equipment as needed.

You will assist machine operators, fill orders, and ensure paperwork is completed accurately while adhering to safety, quality, and Lean initiatives. This role is on-site with training provided.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate scanning tech.

Job Summary

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
