Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Warehouse Automation Systems Operator to control, interface and manage its automated warehouse systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will support continuous material movement for internal and external customers while ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality in operations. The role requires forklift competency, mechanical aptitude, and solid problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV material handling equipment.
• Six (6) months of sit-down forklift operation preferred.
• One (1) year of automation/production machine operation outside PBV warehouse automation, or three months of proven in-house operation.
• Computer/HMI skills; mechanical aptitude; physical stamina; manual dexterity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; math, reading and writing abilities.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and interface with warehouse automation systems.
• Identify system faults; troubleshoot and correct issues; perform cleaning/maintenance.
• Resolve data/transaction errors related to automation systems.
• Maintain operator logs and records as required.
• Direct people/work areas to maximize system efficiency and resolve issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of work; work safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
