Job summary

TXM INC is hiring a Software Operations Engineer for a state-of-the-art distribution facility in Whiteland, IN. You will use your software and programming experience to maintain facility software, fix bugs, and ensure critical systems run at full capacity.

Required skills include Linux, SQL and Oracle, with programming experience in Java, C++, or Python. Prior warehousing or intralogistics exposure is a plus, and the role involves non-standard shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux, SQL and Oracle in an operational setting.
• Programming experience in Java, C++ or Python.
• Familiarity with warehousing or distribution environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot site software to keep operations running smoothly.
• Fix bugs and ensure software controlling facility systems is reliable.
• Run commands and perform routine maintenance on Linux/Oracle-based systems.
• Collaborate with Logistics Ops Manager to align IT with business goals.
• Assist in process and operational redesign to improve performance.
