Job summary

TXM INC is seeking a Software Operations Engineer for a brand-new distribution facility in the Lancaster area of Texas. The role focuses on software/automation to keep the facility running at full capacity, with maintenance, bug fixes and ensuring systems controlling all site operations run correctly.

The position involves working 12.5-hour shifts (5pm–5:30am) on a 2-2-3 Panama schedule, with Linux/SQL/Oracle expertise and programming in Java, C++, or Python. Competitive benefits are included.

• Programming experience across Linux, Java, Oracle, SQL & C++.

Responsibilities

• 5pm–5:30am, 12.5-hour shifts (2-2-3 Panama schedule) subject to change.
• Operate and troubleshoot Linux, SQL, Oracle to an operational standard.
• Work with Java, C++ or Python as programming languages and scripting where applicable.
• Maintain ITIL systems for the site’s operations.
• Analyze systems to drive continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Logistics Ops Manager to align work with business goals.
• Contribute to process and operational redesign.
