Job summary

PepsiCo 1NA Engineering is seeking a technical project manager to lead the execution of the Frito Lay Plant Warehouse’s Automated Guided Vehicle, Palletizing, Loading Automation, and Board on Floor projects.

The role involves coordinating scoping, design recommendations, installation, and start-up activities, while leading cross-functional teams and managing risks across multiple concurrent projects. Travel is expected 25% to 40%.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering/project management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication
• CAD skills are preferred and beneficial

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and design recommendations for automation projects.
• Support installation and start-up activities for new projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project risks.
• Develop and execute equipment installation and start-up plans.
• Collaborate with OEMs to improve equipment design and maintenance initiatives.
• Travel to sites as required (25%-40%)
