Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an Automation Engineer for Quaker Supply Chain & Transformation Engineering to execute projects transforming packaging operations and to help develop multi-year equipment strategy. The role involves leading cross-functional collaboration with HQ and field stakeholders, and partnering with OEMs to improve equipment and maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Science in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead scope development, design recommendations, and vendor selection for Quaker packaging projects.
• Lead continuous improvement and lessons-learned practices.
• Support project execution for new capacity lines and productivity projects at four Quaker facilities.
• Develop, manage, and execute equipment installation and start-up plans while supervising outside contractors and vendors.
• Support development and execution of the multi-year equipment strategy and commercialization for the Quaker fleet across 4 facilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Headquarters, Operations, Maintenance, R&D, Vendors, and Contractors.
• Apply engineering principles to problem solving and manage changes.
• Partner with OEMs to improve equipment offerings, training, and maintenance.
