Job summary

KPI Solutions is hiring a Software Deployment Engineer I/II to drive end-to-end delivery of Kommand warehouse systems, including configuration, installation, and live troubleshooting. You will manage both on-site and remote deployments, coordinate with customers, and ensure successful go-lives with post-go-live support.

Ideal candidates will have experience commissioning warehouse software and hardware, strong SQL Server skills, and familiarity with IQ/UAT testing and ERP/WMS integrations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience commissioning warehouse execution/control software and associated hardware peripherals.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server-based application environments, including SSDT schema comparison and version control practices.
• Experience with formal software testing methodology (IQ/UAT).
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve live production issues under time pressure.
• Comfort with hands-on installation work (wiring, hardware configuration) for pick-to-light and overhead illumination systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead software commissioning of Kommand and peripheral hardware systems at customer sites.
• Own full-scope installation of pick-to-light systems, including wiring and testing.
• Own full-scope installation of overhead illuminator systems and testing.
• Conduct IQ and UAT following installation with formal documentation and customer sign-off.
• Provide on-site and remote deployment support, upgrades, and after-hours production changes.
