Job summary

Simon & Schuster US in Riverside, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Audit Clerk to audit cartons in the QC area and perform shipping checks in the take-off area. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work on a morning shift.

The successful candidate will use computer software to audit cartons, communicate findings to appropriate departments, and assist with shipping dock audits as well as inner facility moves. HS Diploma and MS Excel experience are required.

The Warehouse Audit Clerk is responsible for auditing cartons in the QC area and shipping checks in the take-off area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately audit cartons using computer software
• Detect/remove damage product through the process of auditing Communicate findings/errors to correct departments and supervisors
• Perform audits on the Shipping dock
• Assist as needed with pulling kills and performing inner facility moves
• Any and all other duties required

Requirements:

• HS Diploma
• Computer software skills (MS Excel formatting and entering results)
• Ability to drive Order Selector, Turret, & Drexel
• Ability to stand on feet for entire shift and traverse stairs Ability to lift 50lbs continuously
• Flexibility to shift
• Flexibility to work additional hours
• Ability to follow instructions
• Special projects as needed

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday—Friday 5am-1pm
