Simon & Schuster US is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Take-Off Associate to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. The role involves taking completed cartons off the conveyor, palletizing, wrapping, and loading trailers, with additional duties as assigned.

The position requires the ability to read shipping labels, lift up to 50 lbs, and occasional overtime. High School Diploma is preferred; good communication and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Read shipping labels to identify parcels and destinations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs per package.
• Overtime may be required to meet shipping deadlines.
• Operating a low rider is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must communicate effectively when needed, especially in fast-paced environment.

• Shrink wrap pallets
• Stage pallets on shipping dock

• Other duties as assigned
