Job summary

Compass Group is seeking a Warehouse Attendant at Loew's Jersey Theatre in Jersey City. The role handles receiving, storing, and distributing materials for concessions and events with emphasis on inventory and safety. You will stock, prepare orders, and assist with setup and breakdown during events.

Pay is $22.00 per hour. The position supports cooks, cashiers, porters, and supervisors in a fast-paced venue environment, with benefits like Instapay and wellness programs through the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and stock handling.
• Ability to receive, store and distribute goods for events.
• Capable of maintaining clean, organized storage areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries of food, beverages, paper products, and concession supplies.
• Move products and supplies from the warehouse to concession stands and event locations.
• Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse and storage areas.
• Prepare orders for concession stands based on event and operational needs.
• Restock concession stands throughout events when supplies run low.
• Load and unload carts, trucks, and storage containers safely.
• Transport equipment and supplies such as coolers, cases of beverages, boxes, utensils, cups, and serving materials.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by sweeping, removing trash, breaking down cardboard, and keeping storage areas organized.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown by moving supplies and equipment before and after events.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages, damaged products, or other issues to supervisors.
• Follow proper food-storage and sanitation procedures, including keeping products organized and stored appropriately.
• Keep aisles and work areas clear to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support cooks, cashiers, bartenders, porters, and supervisors as needed during busy events.
• Complete other warehouse and concession duties assigned by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards
