Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
2. Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
3. Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute to production workers or the assembly line.
5. Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing or shipping departments.
6. Mark materials with identifying information.
7. Open bales, crates, and containers.
8. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
9. Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
10. Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
11. Use computer to enter records.
12. Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
13. Drive vehicle to transport stored items or pick up items.
14. Complete requisition forms to order supplies.
15. Prepare parcels for mailing.
16. Maintain inventory records.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.
18. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
19. Commit to safety and abide by all company policies, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
