Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Spares Operation and lead warehouse workers, the Warehouse Attendant is responsible for receiving, processing and distributing sales orders, as well as selecting, picking, packing and shipping material in accordance with company standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent
One (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment
Some experience operating a forklift/automated order picker
Experience processing material receipts and shipments using a computerized inventory control system
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Perform receiving, distributing and shipping duties as assigned
Identify, verify, count and process all incoming and outgoing materials/documentation utilizing company's computerized inventory control system compliant with company policies and procedures
Perform general warehouse tasks including loading/unloading trucks, operating forklift/automated order picker, using scales to count, store, retrieve, pick, pack and unpack material
Maintain a clean and safe work area compliant with company standards
Identify discrepancies/damaged materials received, reporting them to Quality Control Department/Operations Supervisor for correction action compliant with company policies and procedures
Identify any unsafe work areas/equipment to Lead Warehouse Attendant or Operations Supervisor
Other duties assigned by management to meet department objectives
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiar with civil aviation components
Experienced in shipping hazardous materials
Experience in preparing export documents for material shipments
Familiar with current business software
Working Conditions:

Ability to work standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50 lbs

The compensation for this position typically falls between $19.00 and $26.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.
