ProCaps Labs is seeking a Warehouse Associate to coordinate shipping, receiving, movement, and storage of materials to meet production needs. You will unload/load trucks, inspect merchandise, match purchase orders, and distribute items within the warehouse.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, warehouse experience, and forklift certification. You will work to maintain safety and accuracy, document shipments, and support inventory counts in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible for coordinating the shipping, receiving,movementand storing ofany and allmaterials necessary to meet the production requirements of the Company’s sales demand.Additionalduties will beassistingin the shipment and receipt of items by unloading and loading trucks, inspecting incoming/outgoing merchandise, matching purchase orders, and distributing and storing merchandise appropriately.
Handle all material movementrequiredto support all other departments in the attainment of their own functional goals
Read work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions todetermineitems to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins per predetermined sequence or standards
Ensure Warehouse is clean, orderly, accessible, and safeat all times
Mark materials “shipped” and “received” with theappropriate identifyinginformation
Responsible for proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and for the distribution of goods received as assigned. Maintain all shipping/receiving paperwork
Assistincountingofphysical inventory, as needed
Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope
Contribute to and support the corporation’s quality initiatives by encouraging team and individual contributions toward the corporation’s quality improvement efforts
Performothersduties and responsibilities, as assigned
Work occasionally near mechanical parts and in high places
Exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and reach below and above the shoulders
Occasional duties in an outside environment
Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free warehouse environment
High School diploma (or equivalent)
Relevantexperience working in a warehouse capacity
Forklift Certification or proven lift experiencedesirable
Strongproblem solvingskills
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to key in data, type, andoperatea computer keyboard
Work independently and ability to stay focused and ontask
Basic math skillsin order tobe able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Good readingcomprehension skillsin order tointerpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and reading
Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, reach, and twist
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.(anything above70 lbs. will require team lift)
