Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Alburtis, Pennsylvania is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at a fast-paced distribution center. You will package, load/unload, and stock merchandise while learning to operate powered industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and maintain batteries; intermediate required.
• Powered industrial truck certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and maintain facility security.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for product and container damage.
• Handle materials within location policies and perform material moves as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and related functions.
• Perform housekeeping duties for the assigned area.
