Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The role offers hourly pay of $19.50 plus a $1.00 shift differential and comprehensive benefits from day one.

You will work in a safety‑driven, modern warehouse environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. Responsibilities include picking, packing, loading/unloading trailers, and data entry into the WMS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry-pickers, pallet jacks).
• Powered industrial truck certification is required.
• Ability to read and do basic math in English for safety and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Input data into the WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning accuracy.
• Train dock staff on new procedures; maintain security at shift end.
• Perform picking and packing; check for product or container damage.
• Move materials and perform related transactions in the warehouse.
