Job summary

Edward Don & Company in The Colony, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, stock, prepare, and ship merchandise to customers in local and surrounding areas. You will select items, load trucks, and ensure accuracy of quantities while following vendor policies and labor standards.

This full-time role offers a night shift (Sun-Thu 6:00pm–3:00am) with a $21.95 hourly wage plus a $0.75 shift differential, and up to 4 hours of mandatory OT daily.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly per shift.
• Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods.
• Complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Operate RF or Voice Pick devices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from slot and confirm quantity and unit.
• Load merchandise into the appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for reserve to pick slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality and packaging per vendor policy.
• Adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, Preferred Method Standard.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
• The position does not require travel.
