Job summary

Lumbermen’s, located in Toledo, OH, seeks a warehouse team member to assist with order picking, loading/unloading, and freight handling. You’ll verify items, prepare shipments, and support warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior warehouse experience. A clothing allowance and comprehensive benefits are offered alongside a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort material by end destination and store excess stock.
• Pull customer orders and prepare material for shipment.
• Load outbound transfer trucks and secure/label products for delivery.
• Transfer picked orders to the staging area per schedule.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and team on daily tasks.

POSITION SUMMARY

Located at our Toledo, OH location, the person in this position would assist with picking and preparing orders for shipments as well as receive, transfer, and storage of incoming freight in our Toledo division. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Living Out Lumbermen’s Culture – Leading in and modeling Lumbermen’s core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen’s is ‘first choice’ of our customers.
• Detail Oriented - Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock.
• Equipment Usage - Using fork trucks and order picking equipment.
• Loading Products - Loading outbound transfer trucks.
• Preparing Orders - Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment
• Safety - Securing and labeling products for delivery
• Process - Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.
• Open Communication - Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.
• Teamwork - Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Prior Warehouse Experience

• Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.
