Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a diligent warehouse associate to manage shipments of tires and related inventory. You will work with shipping, sales, pickup & delivery, and service departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other equipment, organizing stock, and assisting with counts. The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong organization and multitasking required.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
• Interpersonal skills to motivate team members.
• Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Able to lift and move tires and equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Skills / Education / Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Good interpersonal skills to motivate and lead team members.
• Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed).
