Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is hiring for a warehouse position focused on coordinating shipments, inventory control, and daily operations. You will collaborate with Shipping, Sales, P&D, and Service to ensure smooth flow of tires and related stock.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, organizing inventory, and leading teammates as needed. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient warehouse practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and delegate tasks when necessary.
• Good interpersonal skills to motivate and lead team members.
• Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed).
