Southern Tire Mart in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a warehouse associate to manage tire shipments and inventory. You will coordinate with shipping, sales, P&D, and service departments while safely operating forklifts and equipment.
Responsibilities include assigning tasks to maintain workflow, assisting with counts, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe. Teamwork and clear communication are essential to success.
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory.
Work closely with shipping, sales, pickup & delivery (P&D), and service departments.
Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Assign tasks to team members as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency.
Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Foster teamwork and maintain strong communication with coworkers.
Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to prioritize work and delegate tasks when necessary.
Good interpersonal skills to motivate and lead team members.
Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed).
