Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a warehouse associate to manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory. You will closely collaborate with shipping, sales, pickup and delivery and service teams while safely operating forklifts.

The role includes task delegation to maintain workflow and efficiency, and assisting with inventory counts and stock organization. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, fostering teamwork, and strong coworkers

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and delegate tasks when necessary.
• Good interpersonal skills to motivate and lead team members.
• Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed).
