Job summary

Timken Mounted Bearings is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Ferndale, WA. This role supports Production/Assembly, Urethane Manufacturing, and Packaging/Shipping/Receiving as part of the manufacturing operations.

It requires safe, accurate work and the ability to adapt to different areas of the warehouse. Typical shift is day shift, Monday–Friday, with start times around 7:00am or 8:00am and a pay range of $19.50–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment medical and background check required.
• Experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work instructions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and perform duties in Shipping and/or Receiving.
• Package, load totes and crates, receive components, and stock shelves.
• Ensure attention to detail and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Rotate to other warehouse areas as needed and uphold 5s standards.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Shift: Day Shift.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm; or 8:00am-4:30pm (depending on department assignment).

Pay Range: Starting rate $19.50/hr. Pay range $19.50/hr - $22.00/hr.

Position Summary

Timken Mounted Bearings is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Ferndale, WA. This position contributes to the operation areas of Production/Assembly, Urethane Manufacturing, and/or Packaging/Shipping/Receiving teams. The position displays developing knowledge and skill in all areas of manufacturing operations. The Warehouse Associate follows direction and supports an environment that is adaptable to growth and is in line with the business unit's goals and expected performance metrics.

Essential Responsibilities

• Executes standard work instructions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Promotes and maintains a safe work area at all times.
• Performs and executes high quality workmanship in Shipping and/or Receiving duties.
• Packages, manually loads totes and crates with boxed product; receives components and stocks shelves.
• Provides high quality attention to detail in all aspects of duties.
• Ensures thorough housekeeping and organization of work areas.
• Wears required PPE and follows all company safety procedures, including safe lifting practices.
• Proactively communicates issues, shortages, or problems to Warehouse Coordinators, Supervisors, and/or Customer Relations Management Representatives.
• Provides support and willingly rotates to other areas of the warehouse as needed and during fluctuating demand periods.
• Adheres to 5s organizational standards.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and background check.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications Or Skills

• Shipping/Recieving and Warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to work with a wide variety of hand and light duty power tools.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written.
