Job summary

Timken Mounted Bearings is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Ferndale, WA to handle shipping/receiving tasks on the Day Shift. The role includes picking, packing, loading, and stock control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, quality workmanship, and clean work areas, with opportunities to rotate to other warehouse areas as demand fluctuates. Starting pay is $19.50/hr, with raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and background check.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs Shipping and Receiving duties with accuracy and safety.
• Packages, loads totes and crates and receives components; stocks shelves.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment and follows PPE and safety procedures.
• Willing to rotate to other warehouse areas as needed during peak periods.
• Adheres to 5S organizational standards.

Location: Timken Mounted Bearings, Ferndale, WA.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Shift: Day Shift.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm; or 8:00am-4:30pm (depending on department assignment).

Pay Range: Starting rate $19.50/hr. Pay range $19.50/hr - $22.00/hr.

Position Summary:

Timken Mounted Bearings is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Ferndale, WA. This position contributes to the operation areas of Production/Assembly, Urethane Manufacturing, and/or Packaging/Shipping/Receiving teams. The Warehouse Associate displays developing knowledge and skill in all areas of manufacturing operations. The Warehouse Associate follows direction and supports an environment that is adaptable to growth and is in line with the business unit's goals and expected performance metrics.

• Executes standard work instructions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Promotes and maintains a safe work area at all times.
• Performs and executes high quality workmanship in Shipping and/or Receiving duties.
• Packages, manually loadstotes and crates with boxed product;receives components and stocks shelves.
• Provides high quality attention to detail in all aspects of duties.
• Ensures thorough housekeeping and organization of work areas.
• Wears required PPE and follows all company safety procedures, including safe lifting practices.
• Proactively communicates issues, shortages, or problems to Warehouse Coordinators, Supervisors, and/or Customer Relations ManagementRepresentatives.
• Provides support and willingly rotates to other areas of the warehouse as needed and during fluctuating demand periods.
• Adheres to 5s organizational standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications or Skills:

• Shipping/Recieving and Warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to work with a wide variety of hand and light duty power tools.
• Strong communicationskills in both verbal and written.
