Job summary

Timken is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Houston to support daily shipping and receiving, maintain an organized and safe warehouse, and ensure accurate documentation and packaging to meet quality and delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift experience and ability to lift medium–heavy loads.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments; data-entry skills an asset.
• Able to work outdoors and across multiple departments; adaptable and team-oriented.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Strong attention to accuracy, quality and safety; self-sufficient in supervisors’ absence.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and document incoming shipments; process waybills, packing slips and related paperwork.
• Pick, pack and prepare outbound orders; verify sales orders and sign packing slips.
• Load/unload shipments and ensure proper end-of-shift shutdown.
• Coordinate pickups from vendors and deliveries to customers.
• Assemble and label products correctly for shipment.
• Pack products to prevent damage in transit.
• Maintain warehouse organization and equipment readiness.
• Communicate with couriers and suppliers; schedule shipments as needed.
• Maintain inventory and record stock levels.
• Report discrepancies and NCRs; follow safety and QMS procedures.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily shipping and receiving operations, maintain an organized and safe warehouse, and ensure accurate documentation and packaging to meet quality and delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and document incoming shipments; process waybills, packing slips and related paperwork.
• Pick, pack and prepare outbound orders; verify sales orders and sign packing slips.
• Load/unload shipments and ensure proper end-of-shift shutdown.
• Pick up from vendors and delivery to customers.
• Assemble, scribe, andlabelproducts correctly.
• Package products orders correctly to ensure no damage occurs during transit.
• Maintain warehouse organization, equipment functionality and required supplies.
• Communicate with couriers, suppliers, Procurement and other stakeholders; schedule shipments as needed.
• Maintain inventory, check and record all parts in stock.
• Report discrepancies, damaged items or missed deadlines to the Operations Manager; record and develop NCRs when required.
• Follow QMS, safety policies and continuous improvement procedures; assist with general maintenance and other duties as assigned.
