Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Chanute, KS is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support supply chain efficiency by gathering components, assembling production-ready kits, receiving inventory, and storing items accurately in the warehouse.

You will verify shipments, inspect materials, and maintain inventory records using RF scanners and WMS; lift up to 50 lbs; work 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Job Summary

This role plays a critical part in supporting supply chain efficiency by accurately gathering components, assembling production-ready kits, receiving incoming inventory, and ensuring products are properly stored and recorded in inventory systems. As the first checkpoint in the supply chain, the Warehouse Associate verifies shipment accuracy, inspects materials for quality, and ensures inventory is accurately tracked. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Rate: $17.00

Job Responsibilities

• Pick individual components from warehouse locations according to work orders, pick lists, and production requirements.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assemble, organize, package, wrap, and label components according to company and customer requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of materials and components prior to packaging and storage.
• Update inventory records and track material movement using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting discrepancies promptly.
• Safely unload pallets, cartons, and packages from incoming shipments.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
• Confirm item numbers, quantities, descriptions, and shipment accuracy.
• Report shortages, overages, damages, and other discrepancies according to company procedures.
• Inspect incoming inventory for damage, defects, or missing items.
• Accurately record received goods and inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Utilize RF scanners, tablets, and other warehouse technology to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Transport and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, racks, and staging areas.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, organized, and stored for efficient inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
• Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
