Job summary

Neovia Logistics Services (NLS) in Chanute, KS is seeking a Warehouse Associate on 1st shift (4:00pm–2:30am) to support receipt, handling, storage and shipment of parts and materials. This full-time role requires basic math skills, ability to read and interpret documents, and willingness to operate warehouse equipment; prior warehouse experience is preferred.

The position pays $17.50 per hour plus a $3 shift differential, with opportunities to contribute to efficient logistics and accurate

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized clerical and documentation duties as needed by management.

Responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods to or from various locations. Responsible for and/or assist in logistics and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the business requirements with minimum delay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for and/or assists in the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipmentand supplies.
• Responsible for and/or assists in work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use, safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and or electrical equipment in facilities work environment.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the performance of specialized clerical, and documentation duties.
• Responsible for and/or assists in other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
