Midwest Kitchens is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate in Erie, PA. The role supports the plant in loading, unloading, storing raw meats, and packing finished products. It also involves operating in freezers and coolers and assisting with sous vide cooking as needed.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, physical ability to lift heavy loads, and flexibility to work from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday. Benefits are offered to employees.

Job description

Midwest Kitchens, in Erie, PA, is seeking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. Midwest Kitchens is a premium food service cook plant that uses sous vide cooking to prepare various products for commercial kitchens. The Warehouse Associate will have an adaptable role in supporting the plant in many areas. The warehouse associate is essential to the company's success, from food preparations to packing, sanitation, and more.

Wage: $20.00

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

*** This position will require bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above, reaching across, using repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and the ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily. The Warehouse Associate will be exposed routinely to adverse temperatures, ranging from hot/warm, to cold 20-40° F, damp/wet, and freezing temperatures. In addition, this position requires the use of sharp cutting tools. ***
