Job summary

OnTrac in Richmond, VA is seeking a Seasonal Package Handler to keep thousands of packages moving during the holidays. This active, hands-on role requires teamwork and reliability for a short-term assignment.

You will unload, sort and load packages up to 50 lbs, work with the team to meet deadlines, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Training is provided and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30-50 pounds independently
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently
• Keep your work area organized and ready for action
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time

Weekly Pay - No Experience Required

Pay: $16.00/hr

Employment Type: SeasonalPart-Time

Monday through Thursday | 5:00 AM start Typical Shift Length: Approximately 4 hours End times may vary based on package volume and business needs.

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
