Job summary

Southern Fasteners & Supply, located in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a motivated Warehouse/Fulfillment Associate for a full-time position. Responsibilities include shipping customer orders, pulling and packing orders, reporting inventory adjustments, and maintaining clean work areas. Qualifications

As a Warehouse/Fulfillment Associate you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

• Shipping
• Pull, pack and stage customer’s orders for shipping.
• Report all inventory adjustments to manager.
• Coordinate pick up of shipments with approved carriers.
• Ship customer orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Operate and maintain equipment.

Must Haves

• Must be able to operate a scale.
• Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in non‑climate‑controlled warehouse (preferred)
• Fastener: 1 year (preferred)

Skills

• General math (including fractions) and problem‑solving skills
• Must be computer literate and able to acclimate to PC‑based order entry system
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Product knowledge preferred or willing to learn – fasteners, bolts, nuts, screws and hardware
