Job summary

EIS is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Tulsa, OK to support receiving, organizing, and shipping fasteners and related components. The role demands accuracy across many sizes and specifications in inventory.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in receiving, organizing, and shipping fasteners and related components. The candidate will have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, given the wide variety of sizes and specifications in inventory.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

(Include the following; however, other duties may apply.)

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming fasteners and hardware components.
  • Pick and pack orders, based on customer specifications.
  • Accurately label and prepare products for shipment.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and a forklift.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
  • Adherent to safety procedures and company policies, always
  • All other duties as assigned

This is a physically demanding job, with consistent heavy lifting, in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. The HR Business Partner provides support and guidance to employees and supervisors, collaborating with HR leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices. The focus is on serving as a trusted on-site resource.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years of previous warehouse experience (experience in the fastener or industrial supply industry a plus)
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to become certified within first three months)
  • Team-oriented, with good communication skills
  • Self-starter, with a great attitude and willingness to learn
Language Skills:

The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

Reasoning Ability:

Strong reasoning, mathematics, and measurement are required.
