Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. This role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 12:30 pm, offering a steady daytime schedule.

Responsibilities include receiving and verifying products, assembling and filling orders, stocking inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in temperature extremes while maintaining speed and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Able to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Able to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
