The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7 am - 3 pm.
Warehouse associates receive, empty, and sort containers filled with food scraps.
They also clean containers (soaping, washing, rinsing) to prepare them for return to customers.
Additional duties include preparing finished compost (soil) for delivery, cleaning work vehicles, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
Warehouse associates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment, on their feet, and outside in all weather conditions.
They must be comfortable around food scraps, bugs, and the smell of decomposition.
Personal characteristics include the ability to take direction, attention to detail, teamwork, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
