Company Overview

We are DSA Doors, a well-established manufacturing company in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing team at our headquarters in the Brier Creek area, near RDU Airport and RTP. The role involves receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing warehouse stock.

Responsibilities

1. Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
2. Pick, fill, pack, and ship orders.
3. Manage, organize, and retrieve warehouse stock.
4. Collaborate with supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
5. Implement lean practices to improve warehouse operations.
6. Assist with unloading trucks and checking merchandise.
7. Package, label, and weigh items for shipment, ensuring proper shipment methods and charges.
8. Maintain inventory records using computer systems.
9. Coordinate with freight companies and prepare shipping documentation.
10. Inspect incoming freight for damage, document issues, and handle claims.
11. Perform quality checks on incoming materials.
12. Assist in pulling and picking small parts for shipment.

Minimum Requirements

1. At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
2. HS Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
3. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
4. Proficiency with shipping software; Sage 100 experience is a plus.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
6. Capable of standing and bending for long periods.
7. Basic mathematical skills.
8. Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
9. Forklift experience preferred.
