Position Details:
$21.50/hour
Schedule: 11:30pm - until finish
Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.
The Merge Operator will be observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met. Responsible for maintaining the efficient flow of products through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor conveyors for items to reach the trailers by wave, stop, and sequence according to a predetermined loading plan.
- Correct jams on the conveyors.
- Climb ladders to perform work functions at different levels.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, keep the warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers clean and clear.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
- Ensure the work area is safe and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
- Assist Order Selectors and perform similar duties as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience
- Ability to work scheduled times and overtime
- Fear of heights is not permitted
- Ability to work in a dry-room environment
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly, lifting products weighing 10-90 pounds as needed
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
Compensation: $21.50/hour
