Overview

We're looking for reliable individuals with a good work ethic to join the Allied Wire & Cable (AWC) warehouse operations team as a full-time, direct-hire Picking Associate at our Collegeville, PA facility!

As a Picking Associate, you will support our inventory management efforts by barcoding, scanning, tracking, logging, and relocating inventory using forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers to ensure efficient operations and order preparation.

Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $18/hr + full benefits

Location: 101 Kestrel Drive, Collegeville, PA 19426

What You'll Do

• Support the Order Central Department by reviewing printed picking tickets and documenting items to be picked
• Use order pickers and forklifts to pick orders, including reaching up to 20ft in the air
• Review tickets for potential issues and address any identified problems
• Allocate materials for picking based on tickets
• Use RF scan guns to accurately scan and relocate materials
• Log inventory and relocate materials to the appropriate departments
• Complete put-away procedures and scan all materials returning to stock from production
• Assist with other departmental duties as directed

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to read and follow various communications, work tickets, packing slips, emails, and memos
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Basic math and computer skills
