Allied Wire & Cable (AWC),aGCGCompany, is currently hiring a Warehouse Cut & Strip Associateto join our growing team inCollegeville, PA!In this role, you will be responsible foroperating machines to cut and strip wire/cable, performing quality control inspections, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.

Hours: 5:00AM to 1:30PM M-F

Pay Rate:$18/hr + full benefits

Location:101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

What You'll Do

  • Review order tickets and set up machines using iPads according to ticket schematics
  • Set up machines and monitor pieces that are produced to check for damages/discrepancies
  • Conduct quality inspections of product using rules, calipers, and micrometers
  • Use computers to complete paperwork
  • Tin wire based on customer order specifications
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

What You'll Bring

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle small wires and components
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and use measuring tools including rulers and calipers
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
