Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is hiring for Warehouse Worker roles on a Sunday-Thursday night shift (11:00pm–4:00am). You will receive and fulfill orders, perform quality checks, and prepare shipments to support patient care.

Training is provided on day one, with safety and performance standards emphasized. We welcome candidates with little to no warehouse experience; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and be flexible for overtime.

  • Ability to read and write in English to process documents.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment with performance quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking products, performing quality checks, packing, and preparing shipments.
  • Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participating in projects as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Willingness to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, order picker).

Anticipated hourly range:$20.60 per hour - $21.20 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

  • Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.

  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie ride

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

  • Mustbe flexible to work overtime as needed.

  • Ability to follow direction and change priorities

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.

  • Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

  • Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
