Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound activities and inbound receipt, joining a team that meets quality, safety and productivity standards.

You will unload trucks, log items in the Manhattan Warehouse Management System, store and pick products, and ensure efficient workflow from receiving to shipment for internal and external customers. Training during the first week.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• PIT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to move pallets out of the trucks.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products; follows regulations for refrigerated items when needed.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.

Job description

Shift

Sunday night - Thursday night; 8:00pm - 4:30am. Employee may choose to pick up shifts totaling up to 29 hours/week. Shifts may be selected Sunday - Thursday 8:00pm - 4:30am utilizing the Shyft app (4 hour shifts).

*Training hours will be conducted during night shift hours (1st week)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists in Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products.
