Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods and follow safety guidelines.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents.
• Record shipment information accurately in the company system.
• Report discrepancies to the Customer Service Manager.
• Fill orders using shelf inventory and safely package materials.
• Use third-party logistics software to generate shipments.
• Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand carts.

Job description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will ensure a safe working environment, manage outgoing and incoming shipments, and maintain accurate cycle counts and material handling. Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, and verify correct quantities to shipping documents
• Accurately record shipment information in the company system
• Report shipment discrepancies and issues to the Customer Service Manager
• Accurately fill orders using shelf inventory and safely package materials for shipping
• Utilize third-party logistics software to generate shipments
• Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand carts to move materials
• Appropriately store materials in the correct warehouse locations
• Perform inventory counts, identify, and record discrepancies
• Work with internal departments to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license
• 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving
• Understanding inventory management is desirable
• Able to work with little to no supervision to complete assigned tasks
• Good written and oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Comply with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations and successfully pass a drug screening
