Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Non-CDL Driver at our Milford, CT location. The role includes delivering materials by box truck, unloading at job sites, and handling in-warehouse receiving and inventory processing.

The position requires 1 year of box truck driving experience, with forklift experience preferred. CDL-B is a plus but not required. Overtime on Saturdays may be available, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and ample safety training.

• Box truck driving is desired.
• Forklift experience is desired and training is available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to job sites safely and unload material per customer request.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks and process inventory.
• Move materials from receiving to designated areas and assist with loading/unloading.

Job description

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a Warehouse Associate & Non-CDL Driver for our Milford, CT location.

Box Truck Driving and forklift experience desired, but willing to train.

CDL B Licenses Are a Plus, But Not Required.

Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

1 year box truck delivery driving experience.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Heavy Lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Requirements

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
