Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions within our warehouse.
The Warehouse Worker performs shipping and/or receiving functions in a timely manner while maintaining inventory and warehouse work areas, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met. They function as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Performing general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet breakdown, wrapping, order selection, loading, and receiving.
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
- Conducting daily safety checks on equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Performing damage control on received items and coordinating with supervisors.
- Managing batteries and vehicle inspections as per safety protocols.
- Reviewing work schedules and preparing for daily operations.
- Wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
- Meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
- Securing equipment and completing paperwork.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, production, or manufacturing
- Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift repeatedly, and handle products weighing 10-90 pounds
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
