Job summary

Cardinal Health in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of products. You will help ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain efficient flow from vendor receipt to customer delivery, collaborating with a fast‑paced warehouse team.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00pm–4:30am or finish. Pay is $20.60 per hour with differential; bonus eligible: No.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop and stand for entire shift.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including picking, packing, quality checks, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform inventory control tasks.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, cherry picker).

Job Summary

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. No matter what you do at Cardinal Health, you make a difference. Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross‑training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
