Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops in Fort Worth to support inbound and outbound activities in a climate-controlled facility. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and productivity while handling shipments and inventory.

You will unload, check in, store, pick, and load products, operating material handling equipment as required. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20–30 ft regularly

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks in the inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices.
• Use Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products; follow regulations to store refrigerated products when needed.
• Store products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Pick products from warehouse locations and load into outbound trucks.
• Drive material handling equipment such as forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, etc.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday - 8:30PM start until completion (Mandatory Overtime)

Work Location: 3000 Mark IV Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX, 76106 (Climate controlled facility)

Anticipated hourly range:

$19.36 per hour - $22.11 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Job Summary

The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products.

Responsibilities:

• Unloading trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
• Using Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
• Storing products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picking products from warehouse locations and loading into outbound trucks.
• Driving material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
