Job summary

Olsten Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the Myrtle Beach, SC area to handle receiving, unloading, and shipping activities. The role requires forklift experience and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

The position is non-climate-controlled and may get warm. Pay is $18.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule. Some duties may include assisting at the customer service counter and performing cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of recent and consistent warehouse experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of recent and consistent sit-down forklift experience.
• No more than 3-month gaps in work history without an explanation on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials.
• Unload trucks and prepare orders for delivery.
• Ship LTL orders.
• Assist at the customer service counter when needed.
• Perform cycle counting and help maintain accurate inventory.
• Support other functions of the business as needed.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.

Olsten Staffing is recruiting a Warehouse Associate in the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving materials, unloading trucks, shipping LTL orders, preparing orders for delivery, and supporting other functions of the business as needed. This position may also assist at the customer service counter when needed.

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, be flexible and willing to work in other areas of the business, and be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will also include cycle counting and maintaining accurate inventory.

Please note: This is a non-climate-controlled facility and can become very warm at the worksite.

Must-Have Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of recent and consistent warehouse experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of recent and consistent sit-down forklift experience.

Nice to Have

• Order picker experience; willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory, is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn product information.
• Forklift operator experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, and stand for the full shift.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain productive during busy periods.
• Flexibility to assist in other areas of the business as needed.
