Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Material Handler for our Dallas Metro branch. The role operates on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with pay at $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include order picking, packing, inventory control, forklift movement, and shipping/receiving support. The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, safety compliance, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse/order picking experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Warehouse Associate / Material Handler

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours: 1st shift Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Warehouse Associate / Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse management systems.
• Pack and prepare products for shipment while ensuring order accuracy and product quality.
• Stock incoming inventory in assigned warehouse locations.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using a stand-up forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Replenish picking locations to maintain product availability.
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.

Warehouse Associate / Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Required experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout an entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Temp to hire, based on attendance and performance.
