Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support production through efficient replenishment of parts and supplies. The role focuses on accurate picking, scanning, and timely delivery to production areas.

You will operate forklifts and standard warehouse equipment, perform daily cycle counts, and maintain orderly stock locations while adhering to safety procedures. Prior experience in warehouses is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6+ months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for production and deliver to the appropriate department.
• Operate handheld scanner to scan barcodes and deliver materials to the production floor.
• Review pick lists and select correct materials for work centers.
• Operate forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, and related equipment.
• Inspect forklifts daily and perform on-spot checks.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and report results.
• Put away incoming material to stocking locations.
• Maintain warehouse storage and keep aisles clean and organized.
• Work safely and follow all rules, procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Material Handler

Department: Distribution Center Operations

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Dallas, TX

Description

The Material Handler performs production replenishments of parts and supplies accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking orders for production and delivering those orders to the appropriate department in a timely manner
• Operates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and accurately delivers materials to the production floor
• Reviews pick list and picks appropriate material for specific work centers
• Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment
• Responsible for daily inspection of forklifts and performs on-spot checking
• Performs daily cycle count checks and accurately report results
• Responsible for putting away incoming material to appropriate stocking locations
• Maintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aisles
• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.
