Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations by receiving and processing shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

This on-site role in Fredericksburg, VA offers a $17.00 hourly pay, full-time hours with a temp-to-hire path, and benefits including weekly pay and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Experience using handheld scanners.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Complete your work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes.

Warehouse Associate

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations by receiving and processing shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role plays a key part in keeping our warehouse running smoothly and ensuring customers receive accurate, timely orders.

Pay Rate

$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 6:00PM-12:00AM

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic
• Complete your work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and are in good condition
