Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves loading, unloading, moving, and stacking products, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating a stand-up forklift or sit-down.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down / reach forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products.
• Safely handle large or fragile items using clamp equipment to prevent damage.
• Perform accurate picking, staging, and put-away of materials.
• Inspect forklift and clamp equipment daily; report any issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as palletizing, labeling, and inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support workflow and productivity.

Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler/ Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential to ensuring efficient material handling, accurate order fulfillment, and smooth daily operations. This company is located near zip code 77037 in the North side of Houston, TX.

Pay Rate
$15.00 – $16.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 08:00am to 05:00pm

Saturdays, 08:00am to 03:30pm (Mandatory OT)

50 to 55 hours per work week

Material Handler / Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down / reach forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products.
• Safely handle large or fragile items using clamp equipment to prevent damage.
