How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Position Title: Warehouse Associate / Backup Delivery Driver (CDL B)

Shift: Monday - Friday

Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet, with most vehicles under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology.

As the "face of Airgas," the Branch Associate/Backup Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch. This role involves loading, unloading, delivering, and returning gas cylinders, and interacting with customers. Additionally, the position supports safe and orderly stocking, storing, and labeling of incoming materials and supplies, as well as picking, packing, and distributing materials for delivery.

Responsibilities include:

1. Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations, record deliveries, obtain signatures, and manage empty cylinders.
2. Establish and maintain good customer relations, resolve service inquiries and complaints.
3. Communicate promptly with managers or sales associates about customer issues.
4. Perform cylinder inspections according to procedures.
5. Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents, ensuring compliance with regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA, SAFECOR).
6. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report deficiencies, and ensure safety compliance.
7. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
8. Work in a warehouse or on dock as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A or B Driver's license and Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications or ability to acquire them.
• At least 1 year of Class B professional driving experience within the last 4 years, with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse is preferred.
• Basic PC knowledge, including onboard computers/telematics.
• Excellent customer service skills.
