Description

Stevens Equipment Supply, a member of Daikin Industries, Inc., is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Warehouse Associate and back-up Delivery Driver position at our Eagan, MN branch. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking, and staging of equipment and parts, providing quality customer service to internal and external customers. The role also involves moving materials within the warehouse, maintaining overall appearance, and adhering to safety protocols. Local delivery driving experience with a 26' box truck and the ability to interface with customers is preferred.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Operate forklift and warehouse equipment safely to load/unload/transfer materials without damage
• Receive items per procedure and stock appropriately
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts
• Complete Will Calls and ensure accurate paperwork
• Wear proper PPE and maintain safety standards
• Assist customers and CSRs as needed
• Follow SOPs, work processes, and company policies
• Perform additional tasks as required

Knowledge & Skills:

• Effective verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Ability to operate a forklift safely
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to pass driving and proficiency tests
• Dependability and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

Experience:

• 1+ years in warehouse/logistics
• 1+ years industrial forklift experience preferred
• 2+ years driving a commercial vehicle

Education:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Must perform essential responsibilities with or without accommodations
• Pass pre-employment physical
